Hi, welcome to my webpage. My name is Jefferson Hansen, and I have been publishing poetry, fiction, and essays since 1988. Notice of and links to my most recent publications appear on this page. For older publications, go to the "Publications" page listed to the right.
Currently, I am working as a mail artist. This means I self-publish with my own Circulatory Press and mail copies to people who, in turn, mail me their art. If you would like a copy of one of my books, mail me something! Address is in the contact page. If you would rather purchase a book, send $5 for a chapbook and $10 for a full-length book.
I am currently in the midst of a four-chapbook series. The first draft of three of the four chapbooks was written in a 3 x 5 inch notebook, and the fourth in a 5 x 8. As of May 2026, two are out: a tree and friends. A pond and solo/space are scheduled to appear in September.
My latest full-length book is the figments are here by Post-Asemic Press. It is available at Amazon and from me. Just send me a $10 check.
In 2018, I published 100 Hybrids also by Post-Asemic Press. I thank the editor and publisher, Michael Jacobson. It has been taught for a few years in a contemporary literature course at a university. It can be purchased at Amazon or from me
